Kairos Captures | How It Began
For as long as I can remember, I have always loved taking photos. From old Polaroids, to disposable cameras, on my trusty canon, or even on my cell phone. I have always gone out of my way to make sure I capture a photo of the moment that I'm in to be able to hold on to and have to look back on.
One summer evening my wife and I are driving out on the 303 here in Phoenix and having conversation about how I wanted to do something different with my hobbies and also help people. As we round a turn on the 303, we see the sun setting down behind the White Tank Mountains and the position we were in, the power lines on our right were running towards the mountains and it looked as if the power lines were feeding power straight to the White Tanks to cause them to illuminate in Arizona's all too familiar beautiful hues of orange, pink, and purple. *Click* I Have to take a mental picture since I was driving but I didn't want to forget this once in a lifetime moment that was setup so beautifully to act on, a kairos moment. That's what made it click for me, with the love of photography and wanting to help people. Why not blend both to be able to capture those spots in time where you want to remain fully present but also want a way to remember it. This is what led to Kairos Captures.
Let's work together to see your "sunset moment" and put it in a picture to have forever.
